Natural History Museum: Case Study

Wiedemann Lampe internship, 2018

While interning at Wiedemann Lampe I had the opportunity to build several animations as part of the company’s case study of their work for the Natural History Museum.

Identity System

This first animation explains the separate layers of the identity system: the brand, content and interpretation.

Logo Lockup

This animation highlights the museum’s new foundation for all communications. The animation fluidly transitions between the wide range of logo lockups, demonstrating the versatility of this iconic brand, using an engaging blueprint style aesthetic.

Chat boxes

Wiedemann Lampe developed ‘chatboxes’ to contain all of NHM’s messaging. Snack-sized information to make the content easy to digest and flex to any format.
